Mayfly Larvae Identification with Microscopes with the FSC

Saturday, June 25, 2022 - 10:00 to 16:00

There are 51 species of mayfly in the UK, with the larvae of many of those being easily identified in the field. However, some species do require identification using a microscope.

Join our expert tutor to take your mayfly identification skills to the next level.

Through a combination of taught classroom content and lab-based practical sessions, learners will gain confidence in using the identification key and preserved specimens to identify mayflies to species level.
